The Town of Farmville is excited to host our Annual EGGstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23rd at 10 am. We invite you to be a part of this community event by supporting us in a unique way.
This year, we are introducing a new format to enhance the experience for participants and reduce waste. The Library and Parks and Recreation Department will be using empty eggs that can be exchanged for goodie bags. Additionally, we’re incorporating golden eggs with special prizes to add an extra layer of fun and competitiveness. We’re seeking your support in the form of a candy donation (450-550 pieces), and in return, we’ll include your marketing materials (e.g., flyer, business card, or coupon) in our goodie bags.
500 pieces of candy can be acquired for approximately $35-$45 when purchased in bulk. If you are interested in supporting the event, please reach out to Christopher Horrigan, Parks and Recreation Director, ASAP but no later than Monday, March 4th. We will ask you to have your candy and accompanying marketing materials ready for pickup between Wednesday, March 6th, and Friday, March 8th, to allow our volunteers sufficient time to stuff the bags for the event.
In appreciation of your support, participating businesses and organizations will be recognized on the final flyer leading up to the event, on the Department’s Facebook page and digital newsletter, and announced prior to the start of the egg hunt on the day of the event.
